The legendary rapper and acclaimed film star, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, was immortalized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Thursday, May 18, at 11:30 a.m. PT. Ludacris received the prestigious 2,756th star in the category of Motion Pictures.

"Ludacris has been a pop culture staple for many years," stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "As both a rapper and actor, he has created some of our favorite music and film moments, and we're thrilled to welcome him to our historic landmark."

Joining emcee Ellen K for the star unveiling was Luda's Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel and Hip-Hop legend LL COOL J, paying tribute to the rapper/actor's contributions to film and music.

"Thank you for all the hard work you inspired me," Ludacris told LL. "I will tell you like all of the hard work, the inspiration. We've had numerous talks and conversations. I take all of that and I'm taking it with me."

Queen Latifah, Ludacris' co-star in the Netflix film, End of the Road, was also on hand for the event, and Luda acknowledged her influence and impact on his life. "It was just family times," he said of their time shooting the film together. "I got a chance to have so many conversations with you. I love you. I thank you for paving the way for so many, especially females."

With over 24 million albums sold worldwide, Ludacris' hits include "What's Your Fantasy" featuring Shawna, "Area Codes" featuring Nate Dogg, "Southern Hospitality," and "Number One Spot," among a slew of others. His high-energy songs were accompanied by his groundbreaking, zany videos, which showcased his humor and charisma.

On the film side, Ludacris has long portrayed "Tej" in the blockbuster franchise, Fast & Furious, debuting in 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious. The highly anticipated Fast X hits theaters worldwide on May 19. Recently, two other Hip-Hop legends were honored with stars on the Walk of Fame, Ice-T and Salt-N-Pepa.
