Little Brother's influential, acclaimed debut album, The Listening turned 20 this year, and in celebration of their two decades in music, they've announced A Little Brother Block Party taking place this October in Durham, NC.

"Bringing it back to where it all started!" a post from Phonte announcing the event read.

In addition to the block party announcement, Rapper Big Pooh and Phonte were recently honored by the City of Durham. The proclamation was presented by Mayor Elaine O’Neal, who also declared the month of June as Hip-Hop Appreciation month. Pooh said that it was especially nice to be honored by the city that molded them "not only as artists but as men."

"To be recognized with an award like this is kinda surreal," Phone said of the honor.
