Kool G Rap will release the first single from his upcoming album Last Of A Dying Breed on August 26. The single, "Fly Til I Die," features Big Daddy Kane and will debut at the National Hip Hop Museum's Grand Induction Gala at Atlanta's Nappy Roots- owned Atlantucky brewery.

The single and upcoming album will be executive produced by the Washington D.C. based National Hip Hop Museum and produced by Domingo for Media Famous.

“The National Hip Hop Museum has forged a relationship with label Ewing Athletics," NHHM founder, Jeremy Beaver, told Rock The Bells. "Coming off the heels of Rakim’s sneaker deal, label owner Dave Goldberg and I saw an opportunity to record, revive and reinvigorate one of the greatest MCs in the history of Hip-Hop through his first album in five years."

Fans of the two Juice Crew alumni will recall the WBLS "Raw" promo featuring Kane and G Rap, as well as the still talked about performances that both MCs delivered on the groundbreaking posse cut, "The Symphony." G Rap's full length album, Last of A Dying Breed is scheduled to drop in October, and features AZ, NEMS, Royal Flush and Big Daddy Kane. This is his first full-length album since 2018's Son of G. Rap with 38 Spesh, and his first solo project since 2017's Return of The Don.

Kool G Rap will be inducted into the National Hip Hop Museum along with Slick Rick, Chubb Rock, Whodini and U.T.F.O. He'll also perform at the event which will feature a Hip-Hop Marketplace.
