Jay-Z was spotted at Super Bowl LVIII rockin' throwback Reebok S.Carters. Jay signed with the sneaker company back in 2002 and launched a line of apparel and footwear that saw Reebok experience an 11% spike in sales.
Jay and Reebok's relationship ended in 2006, and the Gucci inspired S. Carter is a pretty rare sneaker these days. Jay-Z is currently in a partnership with Puma, and according to Complex, the sneakers that Jay rocked at the Super Bowl are from a brand new run made just for him.
50 Cent signed with Reebok during the same period as Jay, releasing his Reebok G-Unit sneaker, which he claims outsold the S. Carter and earned him $80 million. In 2014 50 told Revolt that his sneaker outsold S.Carters by a margin of six to one, selling over 3 million pairs.
