50 Cent is no question one of the greatest emcees to come out of New York City. His classic records, bright charisma, and business savviness has inspired many rappers to come after him. Now, he has created an empire for himself with his uber-successful television shows with the Power universe and his new BMF series.
On Friday (November 12), 50 took to his Instagram account to share a photo of him enjoying a charcuterie board on his private jet as he responds to his name being left out of New York's top 10 lists.
"They said i’m not in the Top 10 out of New York artist, [laughing emoji] i’m nobody’s favorite, i’m a nightmare for these fools when i focus," he wrote as his caption.
In the comments, Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda agreed that 50 is one of the city's best musical talents. "With out ah question," he wrote in response.
Big Meech's son and BMF star, Lil Meech also commented, saying, "They couldn’t fw u on your worst day."
50 recently celebrated his sophomore album, The Massacre, going certified platinum by the RIAA after 16 years. In response to the haters, 50 doubles down on his argument that he is more than a one-album artist.
"But they act like I only had one album. I got 2," he wrote. "when I focus I get it all the way right,' 50 said.
