Ice Cube was a guest recently on Alex Kennedy's podcast, where the West Coast legend and Big 3 League co-founder was questioned about how his fandom of the game has changed after getting to know the players. and behind-the-scenes workings of basketball.

"Yeah, you know, the NBA hasn't been the nicest to the Big 3, to me," Cube revealed. "Of course, publicly they say the right words, but we know privately there's things done behind the scenes when it comes to sponsors, broadcasters and blah, blah blah."

Cube went on to stand up for what the Big 3 has accomplished.

"I love the league and I still respect the league. I feel that they should do more with the Big 3. We've proven ourselves and we have a lot of their ex-players and ambassadors."

The Big 3 was founded in 2017 by Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz and consisted mostly of retired NBA players. Several players like Al Harrington and Joe Johnson have thrived in the three-on-three basketball league; and the league recently offered FEAT (Forever Experience Action Token).

"We want people to reimagine what an NTF can be. Here's something that lasts forever with real utilities. It's something new and fresh for people who are into blockchain technology, or people who just want to be part of a sports league," Cube said. "We want people to understand that when you get this (FEAT) there's experiences and actions, merch and all these things that come with being an owner and being enthusiastic about a team or the league."

It was announced last month that Snoop Dogg and PayPal co-founder Ken Howery are expected to buy a 40% stake in Big 3 team Bivouac.
