Freddie Gibbs reminded everyone of his top-notch skills when he hopped on Jay-Z's classic "This Can't Be Life" while guesting on Power 106's L.A. Leakers.

After referencing DJ Akademiks, he gets to it, rapping, “Top 5 of my generation, so they try to crucify me / They can’t kill me, they can’t slump me / Bald head Jesus, I’m Big Rabbit, I come back like Easter Sunday," he rhymes on the instrumental of the 2000 track which also featured Beanie Sigel and Scarface with production by Kanye West.

Despite his expectedly impressive performance, in a recent Ask Me Anything session on Twitter, Freddie seemed to suggest he might be done with releasing albums following the recent release of his latest project, $oul $old $eparately. When a fan asked if Montana, which was rumored to be the follow-up to his 2019 acclaimed effort, Bandana, would ever be released, he replied it wasn't going to happen.

“No. This my last album. Ask Madlib,” he wrote. And when asked what advice he had to give to newcomers to the music industry, to which he replied, “Own as much shit as you can.”
