Flavor Flav Supports Striking WGA Writers in Burbank with Pizza Delivery

Flavor Flav is helping striking WGA writers fight the power.

Flav delivered pizzas to the picket line, joining WGA members in their fight for higher wages. Flav showed up at Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, California where Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson was also on hand to support, along with Ted Lasso creator/actor Jason Sudeikis.

As Public Enemy's classic "Fight The Power" blared in the background, Flav rapped along, hyping the crowd up with a bullhorn.

Flav isn't the only Hip-Hop artist to publicly support the strike. Earlier this month at Milken Institutes’ Global Conference, Snoop Dogg voiced his support for the writers on strike as well, suggesting that musicians should take a page from their playbook, particularly as it pertains to demanding revenue from streaming.

“[Artists] need to figure it out the same way the writers are figuring it out,” he said per Variety. "The writers are striking because [of] streaming, they can’t get paid. Because when it’s on the platform, it’s not like in the box office.”
