Erykah Badu's Upcoming Album Will Be Entirely Produced By The Alchemist

Erykah Badu is set to release her first album since 2010's New Amerykah Part Two, which will be produced by The Alchemist. In a recent Billboard interview Badu revealed that she is working on her new project with the Alchemist, who has also worked with Mobb Deep, Lil Wayne, Earl Sweatshirt, and more. According to Billboard, she can't wait until the album is complete, and its "taking up most of her time".

Badu appeared on Rapsody's 2024 album, Please Don't Cry on the song "3:AM" which won a Grammy award earlier this year. The win, for Best Melodic Rap Performance was Rapsody's first Grammy. Check out Erykah's Tiny Desk performance above.
