On a recent episode of The Sample Lounge producer Easy Mo Bee claims that he was blackballed by Bad Boy CEO Sean 'Diddy' Combs over a credit from Craig Mack's "Flava In Ya' Ear" remix. "On the first original version which was produced by me, [the credit] said produced by Easy Mo Bee for Bee Mo Easy productions," he explained.

Mo Bee then recalls that Diddy wanted to do a remix with Flip Mode members Busta Rhymes and Rampage, and LL COOL J. "When I saw the record it said in this order - remixed by Sean 'Puffy' Combs, Chucky Thompson, and Easy Mo Bee," he said. "I kinda flipped out because [Puffy] didn't do anything on the record, and Chucky Thompson kinda sat there and watched me do the remix in Sound On Sound Studio."

Mo Bee says that he consulted with his manager about the erroneous credit, and he visited Diddy in person. "I told him to do me a favor and not do that again. From that point on the relationship changed," he said. "My relationships period started to change, and certain people wouldn't deal with me. I'd heard about blackballing, but from me asking how we could change the credit, is that what got me into this?"

According to Bee, he has no regrets and he says that if he could go back he'd do things the same way. "I'm a man, and I'm a certain kind of man," he said. "Up until this point in my career I didn't have any problems like that. I won a Grammy for working with Miles Davis two years before."

In addition to working with 2Pac on Me Against The World , Mo Bee produced "Gimme The Loot", "Machine Gun Funk", Warning, Ready To Die, "The What", and "Friend Of Mine" from Ready To Die. He also produced "I Love The Dough", and "Going Back To Cali" from Life After Death.
