Mo Bee says that he consulted with his manager about the erroneous credit, and he visited Diddy in person. "I told him to do me a favor and not do that again. From that point on the relationship changed," he said. "My relationships period started to change, and certain people wouldn't deal with me. I'd heard about blackballing, but from me asking how we could change the credit, is that what got me into this?"
According to Bee, he has no regrets and he says that if he could go back he'd do things the same way. "I'm a man, and I'm a certain kind of man," he said. "Up until this point in my career I didn't have any problems like that. I won a Grammy for working with Miles Davis two years before."
In addition to working with 2Pac on Me Against The World , Mo Bee produced "Gimme The Loot", "Machine Gun Funk", Warning, Ready To Die, "The What", and "Friend Of Mine" from Ready To Die. He also produced "I Love The Dough", and "Going Back To Cali" from Life After Death.
