Drake's DreamCrew company is set to relaunch a Luna Luna, a "long lost art carnival" per Art News.
The innovative art carnival was created by Viennese artist André Heller in the late 1980s, and featured functional amusement park rides designed by innovative artists of the day — Haring made a merry-go-round, Basquiat made a Ferris wheel, and Roy Lichtenstein made a labyrinth, complete with music by Philip Glass.
Because of logistical and financial issues, Heller eventually sold off the works, which ended up in storage for decades. Now, Drake is involved in bringing the project back to life.
“When I first heard about Luna Luna, I was blown away," Drake said in an official statement. "It’s such a unique and special way to experience art,” he said in an official statement of the news. “This is a big idea and opportunity that centers around what we love most: bringing people together.”
