Dr. Dre is celebrating his 1992 landmark album, The Chronic, returning to streaming services.
Dre announced the news today (Feb. 1), and said the project has been released through Interscope Records, its original distributor. “I am thrilled to bring The Chronic home to its original distribution partner, Interscope Records,” Dre said. “Working alongside my longtime colleagues, Steve Berman and John Janick, to re-release the album and make it available to fans all over the world is a full circle moment for me.”
The Chronic was previously available to stream until last March when the album and other Death Row Records classics disappeared from major streaming platforms.
In addition to its return to streaming services, new Chronic-inspired merchandise is now available via Interscope’s online store.
