"We're cooking up a little something" Snoop confirmed earlier this summer after rumors swirled about him and Dre reuniting for a new project. "I don't wanna talk about it too much, but we're back together again. It's been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we are doing something. We're working on something."
Dr. Dre was the producer of 1992's "Deep Cover," which was the world's introduction to Snoop Dogg. Dre's 1992 album, The Chronic, also heavily featured Snoop. Dre later produced Snoop's 1993 debut album, Doggystyle which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling nearly 1 million copies in its first week.
Snoop recently acquired his old recording home, Death Row Records, as well as the rights to some of its biggest hits, including his debut album. To celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of The Chronic, there is a 20-part series about the album and the formation of Death Row Records reportedly in the works.
