On the latest episode of DJ Premier's So Wassup podcast, he dissects Insp-Her-Ation by Da Ranjahz. Preemo recalled that the infectious hook provided by guest artist Ceelo Green of Goodie Mob was recorded first. "With the hook already laid the verses were a lot easier to pen," he said. As far as the unique spelling of the title, Preemo reveals: "I'm really into broken language, and spelling things in a different way than most people."

Premier also shared the Roc-A-Fella connection of Da Ranjahz during the episode. "Shout to the original Roc-A-Fella Records - Dame Dash, Biggs Burke, and Jay-Z. This is the original team," he explained. "Shout to Team Roc , and The Carter Faculty which was a management group crew of the Roc-A-Fella Records extension of artists. Shout to B High who had Memphis Bleek, and Da Ranjaz under his stable.
