De La Soul and Prince Paul Reunite: "I've Been Sworn to Secrecy"

De La Soul and Prince Paul are apparently working on new music, according to a post Paul made on Instagram. The producer shared a group photo of himself, Maseo, Black Sheep MC Dres, Posdnuos and engineer Scotty Hard with the caption: “And then this happened.”

Prince Paul was tight-lipped when it came to offering up details about what they're working on, telling HipHopDx, "I’ve been sworn to secrecy.”

De La Soul then posted what looks like could be cover art on their IG.

Prince Paul produced De La's early catalog including 1989’s 3 Feet High and Rising, 1991’s De La Soul Is Dead and 1993’s Buhloone Mindstate.

De La's last album was 2016's And The Anonymous Nobody... with contributions from Talking Heads’ David Byrne, Little Dragon, 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn, Estelle, and Usher, among others.
