Daz Dillinger of Tha Dogg Pound appeared on a recent episode of The Home Grown Podcast where he claimed that Jay-Z owes him money for lyrics included on 'Still D.R.E." from Dre's The Chronic 2001 album.

"When you look at who sampled.com it says they [interpolated] 'Serial Killer' in "Still D.R.E.," the Dogg Pound MC said. "They took my line 'If you ain't up on thangs Snoop Dogg is the name Dogg Pound's the gang'. They put that in 'Still Dre' - 'If you ain't up on thangs, Dr. Dre is the name I'm ahead of my game.'"

Daz says that he believes that Jay-Z was influenced by his verse in "Serial Killer." "In my mind, Jay-Z was listening to 'Serial Killer' when was writing that motherfuckin' rhyme, and I want to get my money for that."

Daz went on to explain that he sent Dr. Dre a letter and Dre sent lawyers back at him questioning why he waited so long.

Jay-Z Is a fan of my shit. Listen to "Change The Game."

"Music" has no statute of limitations," he explained. "Jay-Z, I'm gonna need at least a couple of percentages. I caught your hands in the cookie jar, so you can pay me now under the table, or I can add these twenty more writers. When you use any part of a song you have to pay all the writers. If you wanna go to court I'll call RBX and the rest of these ni**as and see if they wanna get paid."

Daz recently released the song and video "8 Ball Sippin'" from his new project with Lil Eazy E, The Legacy. "8 Ball Sippin'" is a homage to the late Eazy E's hit "Eazy Duz It" from his debut album of the same name.
