The album features previously released singles “Beach Ball” featuring BIA and “Luxury Life” featuring Coi Leray and produced by Busta and Swizz. The video for the track, directed by Benny Boom, was inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 classic film, Pulp Fiction, and the song samples the The Whole Darn Family’s “Seven Minutes of Funk," which Foxy Brown and Jay-Z also used for “Ain’t No N-gga."
As for the super producers, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz recently received the Rock The Bells 2023 Rock The Bells Cultural Influence Award, which honored their impact and continuing legacy. During their speech, they said that their popular Verzuz series is coming back.
“My brother and I created something special, and it ain’t over," Timbaland insisted. "Black-owned, Verzuz, with Swizz Beatz and me. I’m glad to share this with my brother.”
On Pharrell's end, he's serving as LVHM's men's creative director.
BLOCKBUSTA arrives on November 24. Pre-order the album here.
