The new Black Panther trailer has arrived, offering a more vivid glimpse into the much-anticipated film. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film shows that Wakanda has a new villain — K’uk’ulkan, the feathered-serpent god also known as Namor, who leads an undersea tribe of Atlanteans coming for the surface world.
As shown in the previous trailer, Wakanda is in mourning over the loss of T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman). And in this trailer, Angela Bassett’s Ramonda and Letitia Wright’s Shuri lead the memorial procession, clutching his mask. It's clear that his absence leaves Wakanda vulnerable to attack, and they must come together to protect their land and resources.
