A benefit concert for ailing rapper Rappin' 4-Tay is scheduled for August 3rd at the Phoenix Theatre in Santa Rosa,CA. A recent post from 4-Tay's IG gave an update concerning his ongoing treatment for multiple myeloma cancer.

"Over the past month, Anthony has faced additional challenges with contracting COVID-19 twice," the post read. "Given his already compromised immune system, this has been a significant setback, forcing us to pause his treatment regimen for nearly 30 days as he has fought to regain his strength and recover."

"I am pleased to report that Anthony is now much better and has resumed his treatment plan. He is working hard to build up his strength and is aiming to undergo a transplant towards the middle of September.

"We have organized the first benefit concert to be held on August 3rd in Santa Rosa, CA, at the Phoenix Theater. This event will feature live performances, art donations, and food booths – a true celebration of community and support for Anthony. We would be honored to have you join us, whether it's to enjoy the festivities, get a t-shirt signed by Rappin4-Tay, or bring your favorite album to be autographed."

All proceeds from the concert will go towards raising awareness for early detection cancer screening and supporting 4-Tay's multiple myeloma cancer foundation. Click here to donate to 4Tay's gofundme.
