50 Cent recently revealed that his next album will be his last as he ditches music to further pursue his career as a television producer.
Fif recently clarified the comments during an appearance on The Talk, when he was asked if he truly intended to step away from music, the emcee reiterated he would drop one last album before making his transition to Hollywood.”
“I probably think I’ll deliver one more full-length album, then the other things I do will be connected to film and television,” he said. “I’m having so much success in this area that I have opportunities to keep releasing music through the projects that I’m bringing.”
In a recent interview, when asked if he would record a track with Power Book II star Method Man, 50 admitted he’d love to work with him, calling Meth his favorite Wu-Tang member.
“Possibly yea, that’ll be a good idea actually,” 50 said. “ Meth, he’s my favorite Wu-Tang member. When they came out, he stood out like a sore thumb. It's hard to have those types of moments in hip-hop.”
50 has written and performed all of the theme songs to his most popular shows, including Black Mafia Family, Power, and Raising Kanan. If the Power-inspired track materializes, it will be the first time 50 and Method man will work together on a record.
