Spotify revealed last week that 2Pac's All Eyez On Me has reached over three billion streams on the platform. The 1996 album is the first from that year to reach three billion streams, beating out Jay-Z's debut Reasonable Doubt which has reached 2 billion, Nas' sophomore album It Was Written which is at 550 million, and The Fugees sophomore The Score, which has reached one billion.
Tupac's All Eyez On Me just became the first album from 1996 to reach 3 billion streams on Spotify.
According to Forbes, Pac recently re entered the Billboard charts. His Greatest Hits set returned to a pair of Billboard charts. 2Pac’s Greatest Hits hit the Billboard 200 this last month, entering at No. 111. His success on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music is largely to thank for the re entry.
