Eightball & MJG Verzuz UGK: A Night To Salute the Dirty South

Eightball & MJG Verzuz UGK Represented For the Dirty South and Pimp C

On a rainy night in Georgia, legends of southern Hip-Hop came together and represented for Memphis, for Texas, for the A, and for the entire Dirty South.

Thursday (May 26) night's Verzuz wasn't the first entry in the popular concert series to feature southern rappers, but it was obvious that the classic southern rap was in the building for this face-off between the legendary Eightball & MJG and those beloved Underground Kingz, aka UGK. Bun B represented for his late UGK bandmate, Pimp C; and Ball & G put on for Tennessee. Southern rap stars from Big Boi and Tela, to Jazze Pha and Young Dro showed up to show love. And two of the South's greatest rap duos got to remind everyone why they are the standard bearers for an entire region.
