Dr. Dre's legacy is one of Hip-Hop's most indisputable.

The iconic rapper/superproducer has delivered the goods for almost forty years now. From his early days in World Class Wreckin' Cru, to his game-changing days with N.W.A. to his current billionaire mogul status, Dre's career has run alongside Hip-Hop history for decades. With the Cru, he helped push West Coast Hip-Hop past the tropes of electro in the mid-1980s; and once his old friend Eazy-E brought Dre along to join his new group of "reality rap" gangstas called N*ggaz With Attitudes, the rest was history.

When that group acrimoniously split in 1991, Dr. Dre kickstarted his solo career with the epic The Chronic, and he introduced the world to Snoop (Doggy) Dogg. As Death Row Records became the epicenter of the mid-1990s, Dre's name became the most revered in Hip-Hop as far as production. He's delivered slow jams, woozy G-Funk, epic soundscapes and countless hits. We tried to nail down of Dr. Dre's most indelible moments.
