The Wu-Tang Clan's GZA and live band Phunky Nomads are set to play Sony Hall with Big Daddy Kane and jazz legend Roy Ayers this April. GZA joins Nas, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco and the RZA who have all collaborated with bands and/or symphonies to perform full albums.

The GZA, one of the original members of the Clan and one of its low-key members was the focus of a recent episode of Hulu's Wu-Tang: An American Saga. The RZA-written and directed episode chronicles GZA, who takes on the persona of "The Genius," as he journeys through an alternate reality in NYC to unite Hip-Hop fans who have been poisoned by dangerous music distributed by culture vultures. GZA frees the people using music from his "Liquid Swords" album. The episode ends with a reenactment of the battle depicted on GZA's Liquid Swords album. Many of the album's biggest hits including "Labels," "Duel of The Iron Mic," and "Shadowboxin'" are featured in the episode. The Wu-Tang Clan is currently on tour in South America.

The show will take place on April 13. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. with the performance starting at 9:00 p.m. The show is open to all ages and a full dinner menu is available. Check here for more details.
