Too $hort, who recently received a key to the city of Oakland and also had a street named after him in his hometown, stopped by ROCK THE BELLS with his supergroup Mount Westmore to chop it up with LL COOL J about business, Hip-Hop's growth, and their place in the game as legends.

"The thing that brought us all to the prominence that fed us all these years, everybody that's sitting at this table right now is Hip-Hop," Short, whose been making music since the mid-80s declared.

Short went on to explain that what started out as a dream back when they were all kids has blossomed into full-blown success and inspiration for others to follow.

"As teenagers, it was a dream," he said. "We're in our fucking 50s eating big off Hip-Hop off our teenage dreams." LL chimes in that what he's expressing is "real shit."

Short also talked about the power of forming the supergroup which also features legends Ice Cube, E-40, and Snoop Dogg, and the love and support they've received since it launched.

"We step out on stage individually, man, we do this," Short said. "But together? We step out on that stage, I ain't seen so many people happy, smiling, of all ages. I'm not believing that I got to do this."

Mount Westmore's self-titled project is available now. Check out the full interview with LL COOL J below.
