The Game Reportedly Upset That He Wasn't Included In Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Super Bowl halftime show has been the talk of social media with a great majority claiming a victory for Hip Hop and a major win for the west coast. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige and 50 Cent hit the stage on Sunday night with a groundbreaking, history making performance that has been more celebrated than the Super Bowl itself. There is however someone who had a huge problem with the halftime show.

West Coast mainstay The Game shared a few reposts to his Instagram story the suggest that he should have been part of the legendary halftime lineup. “FYI @losangelesconfidential should have been on stage at the Super Bowl” said one message. “I’ll be the first to say it” it continued. The Game shared the post to his IG story with the caption “Sh**t brazy fr.” The Game shared another post that read “@losangelesconfindential SHOULD HAVE PERFORMED AT THE SUPER BOWL WITH @DRDRE I MEAN TIS IS LA.”

The Game was signed to 50 Cent’s G Unit label in 2003, but the partnership ended on a bad note and the two became rivals. The Game recently talked to Talib Kweli on The Peoples Party Podcast about the rivalry. “If me and 50 didn’t have beef, we’d be billionaires by now.” The beef was squashed in 2016, but there have collabs since. Game and Kanye West recently released the single "EAZY," which samples the late Eazy-E's classic "Eazy-Duz-It," produced by Dr. Dre.

Not everyone online agreed with The Game and his omission from halftime. One user wrote “He ain’t on that level, sorry” and another agreeing “He never crossed my mind last night”. What do you say? Should The Game have been part of the halftime show?
