Stetsasonic have released their new song and video, 'The Cypher Part1' featuring Smoothe The Hustler and Mala Reignz. The single is included in Stet's new album, Here We Go Again, released on Chuck D's Spit Slam label. "The Cypher Part 1" features Mala, Smoothe, Daddy-O, and Wise trading bars over Graham Central Station's "The Jam". Stetsasonic join Common & Pete Rock, Nas & DJ Premier, LL COOL J, Rakim, and Tha Dogg Pound as golden era artists who have, or are scheduled to drop new projects this summer. Cop Stet's new album here.

Stet was featured in a recent episode of TV One's Unsung. Group members Daddy-O, Delite, Bobby Simmons, Wise, Prince Paul, and Fruitkwan shared first hand accounts of the band's rise from demo tapes to their deal with Tommy Boy Records. Questlove, Bow Legged Lou of Full Force, Tommy Boy CEO Tom Silverman, former Vice President Monica Lynch, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Ice T, Roxanne Shante, and Mister Cee shared stories of the band's influence.

The group discussed the ups and downs of their relationship with Tommy Boy, their participation in "Self Destruction" by the Stop The Violence Movement, and the making of their anti apartheid anthem "A.F.R.I.C.A". The splintering of the group, and Fruitkwan's departure were also discussed in the episode, along with Prince Paul's eventual departure after experiencing success producing his labelmates De La Soul.
