Snoop Dogg continues making moves into the metaverse.

Snoop is partnering with MOBLAND to bring digital weed farms to the format. “NFT 1.0 is about individual character and item, NFT 2.0 is about land and real estate, NFT 3.0 is about business and utility on top of the land and real estate," explained Rob Liu, Co-founder of MOBLAND. “We are super pumped to pioneer with the legendary Snoop Dogg by bringing digital cannabis and mass adoption to the metaverse and Gamefi 2.0."

The celebrity-funded, Mafia-themed metaverse is suspected to spearhead the first Grow-and-Earn feature through a vast array of utilities for business buildings and land. An exclusive Snoop Dogg drop of branded digital NFT will also be launched; along with content from ChampMedici. A limited number of Snoop Dogg digital-branded weed farm NFTs will be available, as well as exclusive Champ Medici content from owner Cordell Broadus.

According to INVESTING, MOBLAND is the first ever Mafia metaverse and is also regard as the crypto version of the video game Mafia Wars. The game is developed by a team of industry experts from Disney, Ubisoft, Robloz, EA, Gameloft, Google, Yahoo and Twitter.

Snoop explained how he motivates his kids and the significance of working with his son. "If it’s flipping hamburgers at McDonald’s, be the best hamburger flipper in the world," the 50-year old rap star shared. "Whatever it is you do you have to master your craft. I have been mastering my craft for decades. My son showed me the importance of collaboration with MOBLAND to introduce the first-ever digital weed farms as NFTs. There is a paradigm shift happening here and I want to be at the forefront of this."
