RZA says that the historic residency has been a few years in the making. "We actually tried to attempt this more than five years ago, but it didn't make sense economically," he explained. "The Wu had some rust to get out of our system and with the documentary (2019's Of Mics and Men), the Hulu series, and the tour, we are back, our vitality and strength are up, and our camaraderie is stronger than ever."
In other Wu-Tang news, RZA and Raekwon, have also announced a special performance of the Chef's classic album, Only Built For Cuban Linx. Taking place on February 16 and 17 at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, CO, the duo will be backed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
