In a recent sit-down with CNN, RZA said he's honored that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna were inspired to name their son RZA.

In the interview, which aired on July 6, RZA (real name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs) talked about his long, impressive career, and also shared how pleased he was that there's another RZA out there.

“[It’s a] great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even of my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name,” he said. “RZA is not only a name, it’s a title. So it’s an honor and I salute her and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me.”

A$AP, who says he was named after Rakim, shared a post that revealed his son's name back in May.

“WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN.” HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN. RZA,” he wrote in the Instagram caption.
