Run DMC has announced a pop-up and art installation experience in partnership with Adidas Originals. The experience launches just in time for Hip-Hop's 50th anniversary, and will run in NYC from August 9th – August 12th, per NewsOne.

Fresh off a dynamic performance at the Rock The Bells Festival in Queens on Aug. 5th, the pop-up will give fans access to merchandise from Barriers Worldwide and the Crate NY. In addition, coolers in partnership with Igloo and other RUN DMC novelty merchandise items will be available.

The pop-up will be open to the public Aug. 10-12 from 11 am – 7 pm, and will celebrate the pending 40th anniversary of their landmark self-titled debut album. Along with the shopping opportunities, DJ Scratch, Skratch Bastid Charlie Chan Soprano and DJ Hurricane will be spinning and Run DMC will also perform.

As aforementioned, Run DMC recently performed at the sold out Rock The Bells Festival in their hometown of Queens last weekend. In a previous interview with Rock The Bells, DMC said he's planning to release a solo album soon, called America.

"So far, I got Joan Jett, Sammy Hagar [Van Halen], Blacktop Mojo, Mick Mars from Mötley Crew, Duff McKagan from Guns N’ Roses, Travis Barker [blink-182] on drums, Sebastian Bach from Skid Row, my own band DMC & The Hell Raisers, Chuck D and Ice-T," DMC said of the upcoming project. "It’s gonna be sick."
