Reel Sung Productions has released a two-part documentary chronicling the life and career of N.W.A.'s DJ Yella. The D.O.C., Kurtis Blow, Cli-N-Tel, Lonzo Williams and Lil Eazy E all appear in the film, which is part of the You Can't Erase Me series. Sparky D: Secrets, and Alien Ness and The Mighty Zulu Kings have also been released by Reel Sung.

Reel Sung founder Mr. Wave of the legendary New York City Breakers says that the truth of Hip-Hop and its brick layers and practitioners has not been fully told. "The birth of Reel Sung was really when I released my documentary, Wave: A True Story Of Hip-Hop," Wave revealed to Rock the Bells. "I wanted the stories to be about the truth and legacy." This search for the truth is at the root of Wave's You Can't Erase Me Series, which also includes films chronicling the lives of J.J. Fad, Mr. Cheeks, and Dr. Khalid El.
