Long Island, New York emcee, R.A. the Rugged Man released his star-studded, third studio album All My Heroes are Dead in 2020, with an impressive list of guest appearances including verses from Chuck D, Immortal Technique, Inspectah Deck, Onyx, and many more.

On Tuesday (March 15), the Nature Sounds rapper shared the music video for the album’s second single, “Dragon Fire,” featuring Wu-Tang Clan legends Ghostface Killah and Masta Killa, Queens emcee Kool G Rap, and Xx3eme. The instrumental, produced by Shroom,  is reminiscent of RZA’s iconic Wu-Tang sound, each iconic emcee adding their own signature flair in the mix.

All My Heroes are Dead arrived on April 17, 2020, following his 2013 project Legend’s Never Die. The Long Island emcee spoke to HipHopDx about his last project, claiming he wanted to continue the legacy of the greats we have lost over the years with an “angry vengeance.”

“So many of the greats are gone, and the legends who made it out alive are cast aside,” R.A. said in a press release. “Society left our heroes and their culture for dead. We have to dig that greatness out of its grave, and bring it back with an angry vengeance.”

The album’s trailers reflect the project’s ethos, as R.A. the Rugged Man sets out to kill all wack emcees ruining the culture. Check out the video for R.A. the Rugged Man’s “Dragon Fire,” featuring Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, Kool G Rap, and Xxx3eme. Stay tuned for more hip-hop news.
