Ms. Lauryn Hill, Lupe Fiasco, Ashanti and Ja Rule, Tems, Beenie Man, Larry June, and more are slated to perform at this year's ONE Musicfest happening this October in Atlanta.
The festival, now in its twelfth year, will also feature a “Street Legends” set with Rick Ross and Gucci Mane, as well as a Big Facts Mixtape set with classic southern rappers including Pastor Troy, Rocko, and Young Dro.
"It's a family reunion with amazing music," producer/head of promotions Maurice "Moetown" Lee tells Rock The Bells. "We don't just focus on the superstars, we program music that'll take you on a journey."
Lee explains that one of the driving elements of ONE Musicfest is the ability for attendees to be introduced to new music. "We want you to come and see your favorite artist but leave OMF a fan of someone new," he says.
Previous performances have included a Dungeon Family reunion featuring OutKast and Goodie Mob, as well appearances from Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Three Six Mafia, and more. ONE Musicfest takes place October 8-9 at Central Park in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Tickets are on sale at ONEMusicfest.com.
