One Music Fest has kicked off this weekend in Atlanta. The South's No. 1 urban progressive music festival boasts a lineup that includes some of the biggest names in music. From Lil Wayne to the Isley Brothers, from H.E.R. to Ari Lennox, from Crime Mob to Big Boi; this is the festival event of the fall.
One Music Fest founder J. Carter and the OMF team got together the week before the festival and honored an Atlanta instution: production team Organized Noize. At the One Music Fest Honors dinner, the legendary trio of Ray Murray, Sleepy Brown and Rico Wade were celebrated for their contributions to popular music. Organized Noize helmed classic projects by OutKast, Goodie MOB, TLC, En Vogue and more.
Held at the Atlanta brunch staple Breakfast At Barney's, the event saw Murray, Brown and Wade given plaques in recognition of their achievements, with OMF founder J. Carter and the OMF team doing the honors.
