O.J. Simpson played in the NFL for 11 seasons, and achieved enormous success as an actor and product endorser. He played with the Buffalo Bills from 1969-1977, and the San Francisco 49ers from 1978-1979. He is regarded as one of the greatest running backs in history.
Simpson's reign as a icon in popular culture came to an end in 1994 when he was tried and acquitted of murdering his former wife Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman. Dubbed 'The Trial of The Century", the case captured the world's attention and set several legal precedents. Simpson has largely been out of the spotlight for the last three decades, popping up on social media, and recently contributing to Cam'ron and Mase's It Is What It Is sports podcast.
