"Goodfellas," 38 Spesh and Conway featuring Benny The Butcher

38 Spesh and Conway have teamed up for an album, Speshal Machinery, due out on Sept. 8 on T.C.F. Music Group. Last week, they dropped off the project's first single, "Latex Gloves" featuring Lloyd Banks and now they've released "Goodfellas" featuring Benny The Butcher.

Spesh explained how the collaboration came into fruition.

"Banks shouted me out on Twitter, so I reached out.  He asked me to jump on his album and then returned the favor," he explained per a press release.  "He seemed like the perfect fit for the first single for me and Conway's project."

Blu x Real Bad Man, Bad News

West coast lyrical giant Blu and acclaimed producer Real Bad Man have released their collaborative album, Bad News. The album features previously released singles, Aladdin" and “The Golden Rule" with CL Smooth.

“My name (Blu) is synonymous with being the bearer of ‘Bad News.’  Anytime you speak the blues, it represents just that to people; and Blu only speaks the blues.  The themes on Bad News are centered on battle rap, it’s for the heads that missed the cipher and it packs a heavy punch” Blu said in a press release. “I am honored to do this project with Real Bad Man and add it to his elite collection of projects with great emcees.  The music came out excellent, which is always the most important, and I was able to creatively express myself freely.  “The Golden Rule” (featuring C.L. Smooth) and “Hebrews” (featuring Planet Asia) are my favorite tracks because I got to collaborate with two artists who have influenced and molded my sound and style more than pretty much any other artists in Hip Hop.  Thank you to the OG’s, and thank you Real Bad Man for giving me the platform to shine.”

Real Bad Man was happy to make the collaboration happen. “I’ve been a fan of Blu’s for a while and we’ve worked together here and there on some one-offs, but I knew a whole project together would be special” Real Bad Man adds.  “Blu has a really unique way of looking at the world, but through a Los Angeles filter.  I’m psyched we got to come together and make Bad News.”

"Keep Going Up," Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake

Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake have reunited for a new track, "Keep Going Up." As pointed out in the press release, the single marks Timbaland's first official solo single in over eight years and his artist debut under the partnership between his own Mosley Music Group and Def Jam Recordings.

These three first famously joined forces on 2007's "Give It To Me" which toppled the Billboard 200 at #1 and has generated nearly a billion streams. It also graced Timbaland’s 2007 platinum-certified full-lengthShock Value, which crashed the Top 5 of the Billboard 200. The track originated from Beatclub, Tim's music creator platform, and its members, Last Trip to the Moon, per Global Grind.
