Royce Da 5'9, The Heaven Experience EP

Royce Da 5'9 has dropped his new EP, The Heaven Experience EP. The six-track EP boasts an assist from Redman on "Royce & Reggie," and also features the lead single, “Signs (Freestyle)." Released through Heaven Studios Inc. in partnership with The Orchard and Passage, which is a Metaverse-based company, fans can participate by buying the Heaven Experience Pass on April 4. DJ Quik, "Class"

DJ Quik returns with the first single from what may possibly be his final album, "Class."  The funky track was sparked by a sample of the Impressions’ 1972 single, “This Love’s For Real.” “I was listening to some streams and this sample caught my ear,” he told Rock The Bells. “It was in my algorithms and it suggested some songs that might be in this category. So this record came on and I was blown away. I remember hearing it as a child, but it wasn't a big record. I’m a big Impressions fan and love Curtis Mayfield. So I just sampled it, looped it and put it in an MPC 3000 to see what it sounded like. It came out pretty funky, or as we say, ‘fonky.’”

E-40 "Bands"

E-40 is all about showing off his bands in his new video — his marching "bands" that is. The video "Bands" was shot at his old stomping grounds, Grambling State University in Louisiana.

“Most people don’t know that I was part of a marching band for most of my childhood, so I definitely connected with this beat,” 40, who earlier this year donated $100,000 to the university, told Billboard. “But I just wanted to create another slap for my fans sprinkled in with a double entendre for everyone working hard to earn those bands. Shout-out to everyone at Grambling involved in making this video come to life.”

DJ Drama, I’m Really Like That

DJ Drama got creative and recreated clips from Juice as promo for his latest album. In the Jim Jones-directed clips, he called on the cast ofJuiceto help him out, including Omar Epps, Khalil Kain and Jermaine Hopkins. In one promo, Drama is playing Tupac's character Bishop, and recreated the infamous apartment scene — and spoiler alert, Drama actually has some acting chops.

Pulled from the joint album due out on April 4, For Motivational Use Only, "Never Fall Off" features JD, Curren$y and T.I. detailing what it takes to have longevity in the game. “I raise my hand to the Lord, I pray I never fall off, I wish the same for my dawgs, money won’t break us apart, them h**s gon’ f**k on us all, we don’t argue over no broads…”
