AZ, "This Is Why"

After releasing Do Or Die II in 2021 to much acclaim, AZ is back with a new single, "This Is Why" from his forthcoming album, Truth Be Told. “There is no amount of money that can measure up to the feeling of a natural heavenly bliss of euphoria,” AZ said via a press release. “This Is Why I’m Fly!” The album will feature collaborations with Fat Joe and Pharoahe Monch and is due out Dec. 1. Listen to the Buckwild-produced "This Is Why" below.

Nappy Roots, NAPPY4LIFE

Hip-Hop veterans Nappy Roots are back with a new album, NAPPY4LIFE, a project they say is one of their most personal to date. Among the features on the 10-track project is Dungeon Family's Backbone on "Rise & Grind" along with newcomers like Blanco Brown on "End of the Night Song." The album is led by the single "Hands of Time" featuring Shaun Rose and produced by veteran producer 808 Blake.

Wu-Tang Clan has officially released their new soulful single "Claudine" after first sharing it on Shade 45's Sway In The Morning. Method Man and Ghostface pay respect to the women in their lives, aided by soulful vocals from Nicole Bus.

"In a fed-up position like in a womb / You’re not feeling I given that much, you'll be feeling it soon," raps Meth, while Ghostface offers, "I reflect on the scriptures and old pictures / Staring at my mama in the kitchen doing dishes / Despite how she was living who am I to judge / But what I’ve learned, if your mama is alive show her love."

“Claudine” is Wu’s first official single since their 2017 album The Saga Continues.

CyHi featuring Pusha T, “Mr. Put That Shit On”

One of the most talented MCs around, CyHi is back at it with "Mr. Put That Shit On" featuring Pusha T. “Amiri, Yves Saint Laurent coat, side note / Must bе on heroin thinking they don’t fear thе God flow,” CyHi offers on the first verse. “Virgil Abloh, I’m rocking on Aeropostale / Nigo, Kenzo, model, Phoebe, I don’t follow / I wear Riccardo, got Tisci inside my cargo / Fendi button down, they thought I was Pablo in Narcos.

The track is featured on The Story of Mr. EGOT. Listen below.

Sheek Louch, Gorillaween 5

Sheek Louch returns with the fifth installment of his Gorillaween series, which he started back in 2015. This go around, the project clocks in at eight tracks and features assists from Raekwon and Dyce Payne on the song “Body Rock." Other tracks include “Lick Da Baggy," “So Sick," “Time To Be Alive," “So Say That," and “Self Checkout."

Larry June x Cardo, "Without You"

Larry June has connected with Cardo and Blxst for a slow jam, "Without You." “I just want to hold you down / Don’t worry about nothing baby," Larry sings on the hook, while Blxst offers, “I been around / Still ain’t one like the one that I found / You got me stuck / Lifting you up while you holding me down."

"Without You" is the latest single from Larry and Cardo's forthcoming album, The Night Shift.

The Alchemist is gearing up to release Flying High Vol. 2 in November, and has dropped off a new video, "Nothing Is Freestyle”, directed by New High Filmz.

“It’s solidified, I’m gifted / Pass work protected the hard drives encrypted/ I told the sample lay on the ground and then I stripped it / Sprinkle magic in the batter before I whipped it," he rhymes on the laidback track.

Flying High Vol. 2 drops on Nov. 3.
