Meyhem Lauren x DJ Muggs & Madlib, Champagne for Breakfast

Meyhem Lauren, DJ Muggs, and Madlib have connected for a 15-track collaborative album, Champagne for Breakfast. Produced entirely by Muggs and Madlib, the album is available via Soul Assassins Records and features Action Bronson and Hologram.

“Long story short, I was working on an album with Muggs and an album with Madlib” Meyhem Lauren explained in a statement.  “We were all in the lab together going through songs and decided to do a Meyhem x Muggs x Madlib collaborative album before dropping the other two projects.”

Muggs said the collab came about naturally. "We were in the studio one morning listening to music, drinking Champagne, and realized we had a lot of songs we really loved," he said. "So we started going through everything together, and we ended up recording a few new joints based around that morning Champagne session, and that was the birth of Champagne For Breakfast.”

Jermaine Dupri + Curren$y, For Motivational Use Only, Vol 1.

Jermaine Dupri and Curren$y have dropped off their new collaborative EP, For Motivational Use Only, Vol. 1. The seven-track EP features 2 Chainz and T.I., who offers an assist on the previously released track, "Never Fall Off." The song finds the trio detailing what it takes to have longevity in the game.

“I had my mind made up ever since the Jump remix by Kris Kross and SuperCat that I wanted to work wit bruh,” Curren$y wrote of the project. “Years down the line MTV Cribs walked me thru the garage to see the Ferrari, Benz coupe, and the Bentley that determined rather or not you were actually a big dog. As the grind would have it we didn’t link up when I first got in the game because it just wasn’t my time, I’d crossed paths wit the legend often thru making moves wit Wayne but it was clearly not my place to introduce myself or talk about how it was a dream of mine to work with him. I had to play my part ya kno.”

Millyz, Blanco 6

Massachusetts rap vet Millyz is back with his latest release, Blanco 6. The 18-track album features (mentor) Jadakiss, G Herbo, Berner, and more, and displays Millyz's sharp lyricism on tracks like "Dark Shade" and "All That Matters" featuring Dave East. Listen to the new album here.
