On the heels of last weeks release Magic 3 by Nas and Hit-Boy, Nas has released a video titled Nas & Hit-Boy Present Magic 3: The Final Act. In the video, Nas revealed that he and Hit-Boy may work together again, and that the the completion of Magic 3 was an emotional experience for him.
"To complete something beyond what you thought you were working on- we didn't know we'd do six albums," the "One Mic" MC said. "To be at this point is satisfying and gratifying and it's a feeling of accomplishment on another level."
Nas also expressed gratitude for being able to work with some of the best producers in the game. "I think that I've worked with some of the greatest producers in the world so far," he explained. "I've been blessed to be able to do that and that's what I've done here. To do six albums, we could definitely go for more easily."
Nas explained that he caught some criticism for naming his first project with Hit-Boy Kings Disease. "Some people said that I should name it something else because it was released so close to covid, but I stuck with it, change it to what?" he questioned. "Magic was just how we felt to get together and work so much and have that chemistry that was a perfect word for it".
Nas' work with Hit-Boy has given him an unprecedented run. The "One Mic" MC has dropped six albums in the last three years with Hit-Boy consisting of three volumes of Kings Disease and three installments of Magic.
