Nas Is Performing Solo For The First Time Ever At The GRAMMYs

Nas is going to perform solo for the first time ever on the GRAMMYs stage. After taking home the top prize in the Best Rap album category for King's Disease last year, he is looking to go back to back in 2022 with the follow-up, King's Disease II.

His fellow challengers includes Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy, J. Cole‘sThe Off-Season, Kanye West‘s Donda, and Tyler, The Creator‘s CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST. Nas is also in the running for Best Rap Song based on his his contributions to DMX’s posthumous hit, “Bath Salts,” alongside JAY-Z.

From a performance standpoint, Nas last appeared on the 2020 GRAMMYs stage alongside Lil Nas X for an updated version of "Rodeo." Other performers in 2022 include Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, Silk Sonic, Billie Eilish, BTS, Lady Gaga, and Olivia Rodrigo.
