MC Lyte has announced that she is embarking on a tour starting the first quarter of the year, and she's looking for positive, aspiring MC's to open up for her. The "Lyft Up Cypher" seeks MC's who are able to spit rhymes which can "lift another ones spirit."

"I'm hitting the road come first quarter for a string of intimate shows with fans that have been waiting a really long time to see MC Lyte," she announced in an IG video. "I'm hitting a whole lot of cities up, and if you're nice on the mic or know someone else that is, join us for the Lyft Up Cypher. It will happen before I go on stage in every city that we're hitting. Lyft Up doesn't mean you're just rapping about anything, you're rapping about something that can lift another ones spirit."
