Lil Wayne has been added to the list of artists set to perform at the 2022 BET Awards, which will take place this Sunday (June 26). Wayne is an 11-time winner at the BET Awards.
The show will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with Taraji P. Henson serving as host. The highlight of this year's awards will no doubt be the tribute performance to Sean "Diddy" Combs, who'll receive the lifetime achievement award. The Bad Boy founder's tribute performance is jam-packed with show-stealing artists including, Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Nas, Lil’ Kim, Busta Rhymes, The Lox, Bryson Tiller, Faith Evans and The Maverick City Choir.
Babyface, Ella Mai, Lizzo, Kirk Franklin, Chance the Rapper, and Joey Bada$$ are also slated to perform at the show, with MC Lyte returning as the announcer. Sanaa Lathan, Idris Elba, Janelle Monáe, Keke Palmer, Irv Gotti and Ray J are among this year's presentors, with Doja Cat leading the nominees with six nominations.
