Lil Wayne's 2008 hit "Lollipop" just scored a big victory — it's been certified diamond by the RIAA.

The song was featured on Tha Carter III, which sold one million copies in its first week. In a video thanking fans for the support, Wayne noted that his diamond status came via actual sales, not streams, per TMZ.

One of Wayne's signature tracks, the song featured acclaimed singer/songwriter Static Major of the group Playa. Static sadly passed away in 2008. His estate noted that in addition to the diamond status, the Grammy-winning song also topped TikTok's charts nearly 15 years after its release.
