March 31, 2022, marks the third anniversary of the untimely death of Los Angeles MC, Nipsey Hussle. The late rapper’s widow, Lauren London, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to the beloved artist.
“Loving You Here There Then Now Forever and After,” London wrote alongside a photo of a smiling Nipsey. “Long Live The King Ermias Asghedom Hussle Man,” she added, referencing Nipsey’s real name.
She received messages of support from celebrity friends including Angie Martinez, T.I., YG, and legendary Hip-Hop photographer, Jonathan Mannion, who commented, “Sending you love and light!!!”
The couple began dating in 2013 after meeting on social media. In 2016, they welcomed their son Kross Ermias, who turned five this August. In honor of his birthday, London shared a new photo of him, commenting “Baby Hussle,” as he bears a striking resemblance to his father.
Last year, 30 For 30 Podcast honored Hussle with a four-episode series about his life and career as an emcee, entrepreneur, activist, and philanthropist in his hometown of South Central, Los Angeles. The four-part series features some of the NBA’s top athletes, including Demarcus Cousins, Isaiah Thomas, and DeMar DeRozan.
Fans and friends including The Game also shared tributes to the Crenshaw legend, who would have been 36. Long Live Nipsey Hussle.
