Kool G Rap Shares Cover Art for Upcoming Album 'Last of a Dying Breed'

Rap legend Kool G Rap has shared the artwork for his anticipated upcoming album, Last of a Dying Breed.

Executive produced by the National Hip-Hop Museum, the project will be produced by acclaimed beatsmith, Domingo (Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane, Three 6 Mafia, Drake, Big Pun) and features collaborations with AZ, Sean Price, NEMS, Vado, 38 Spesh, Royal Flush. The album is led by the single, “Fly Till I Die” with Big Daddy Kane.

“The National Hip Hop Museum has forged a relationship with label Ewing Athletics," NHHM founder Jeremy Beaver previously told Rock the Bells about the album. "Coming off the heels of Rakim’s sneaker deal, label owner Dave Goldberg and I saw an opportunity to record, revive and reinvigorate one of the greatest MCs in the history of Hip-Hop through his first album in five years."

In addition to the album's release, The National Hip-Hop Museum will be inducting Kool G Rap at its Grand Induction Gala taking place on Aug. 26 in Atlanta. He'll be inducted alongside Hip-Hop legends Chubb Rock, Slick Rick, Kool G Rap, Whodini, UTFO, Speech, and Diamond D.

As for the album, Last of a Dying Breed will be the legendary Juice Crew member's first album since 2018's Son Of G Rap with 38 Spesh, and his first solo album since 2017's Return Of The Don. The album will feature Sean Price, NEMS, AZ, Royal Flush, Al Skratch, Vado, Folkland LOS, and others.

The album is set to arrive Oct. 14.
