Killer Mike won in the categories of Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Performance for his album Michael, and the song "Scientists & Engineers" featuring Andre 3000 and Future at the 2024 Grammy Awards. "Atlanta it's a sweep," he exclaimed after the announcement by presenter Jimmy Jam. "You cannot tell me that you get too old, you can't tell me its too late, you can't tell me that dreams don't come true!"

In 2003 Killer Mike won his first grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for the collaboration "The Whole World" with Outkast. Featured artists Andre 3000, Future and Eryn Allen Kane shared in Mike's Best Rap Performance victory. Michael is Killer Mike's first solo album in 10 years. The project received critical acclaim upon its release last June for its insights on addiction, morality, and his overall outlook on Black life.
