Killer Mike was a guest on a recent episode of Sway In The Morning where he discussed his new album and working with the elusive André 3000 of Outkast.

"We were out in LA and I called him [Andre] to hear the record, and he called and asked if he could come by and play some music," he said. "I didn't know what he was gonna play, but he played 9 or 10 joints and said pick what you like and do something with it. He gave us two records (one was "Scientists & Engineers") and one that you'll hear soon is 11 minutes long."

Mike revealed that he didn't send André the finished version of "Scientists & Engineers," but instead the "rapper demo" version.

"Once I sent him the full song he called right back and said, 'You got the record.'"

When Sway back tracks to clarify that André is working on an album, Killer Mike confirms it.

"We fly out in a couple of weeks to listen to it," he said.

Sleepy Brown of Organized Noize recently told TMZ not to hold out hope for an OutKast reunion.

“Nah, they not,” Brown said of the coming together for another project. “[André 3000] is on a whole other journey and he’s, you know, doing something. But me and Big [Boi] are still doing tours and stuff like that. Don’t hold your breath for no OutKast reunion. Don’t do it to yourself. It’s not gon’ happen, folks. If you wanna see us, we gon’ be Dungeon Family. That’s about it.”
