Kendrick Lamar's major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city is turning 10 this year, and he's celebrating the anniversary with a special limited edition vinyl reissue.

The vinyl is a creative recreation of the original design, featuring a blacked-out cover that includes the infamous van from the original art in black. GKMC followed Kendrick's previous releases, his 2010 mixtape Overly Dedicated and 2011 album Section.80 and is considered to be his major breakout album. It featured a slew of staples in his stellar catalog, including "Money Trees," "Swimming Pools (Drank)," "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe," "Backseat Freestyle," and "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst."

Kendrick has stayed busy this year, with the release of his fifth album, the stellar Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, which became the first Hip-Hop album in 2022 to cross one billion streams on Spotify, according to Chart Data. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in May and has since gone on to earn critical-acclaim for its deeply observational examinations of love, relationships, self-worth and Black trauma. Most recently, Kendrick kicked 48th season of Saturday Night Live, performing three tracks from the album —“Rich Spirit," "N95" and "Father Time" with singer Sampha.

The 10th-anniversary vinyl for GKMC is set to be released on October 21, one day before the project was released. Pre-orders are available now on Interscope’s online store, along with CD and cassette versions.
